Default Will a 86 gt 8.8 fit into a 91 lx
Im converting a 4cylinder into a 5.0 and i need to change the rear end. I found a 86 rear at a junk yard and im trying to figure out if it would fit into my 91 lk. Any help would be appricated. Thanks

but remember this it most likely will need a posi rebuild kit as IMO the clutch will be worn..so remember this when pricing it

it will go right in the 4 bangers have 7.5's and they are pretty good rears they can take abuse mine is a 7.5 havent have a problem what are your plans for the car still cant go wrong with the 8.8

u'll only need a 8.8 if u plan on going big for horse power.....people at the strip where i live run mid 11's all day long with a 7.5 rear

right, as early mustang had the 7.5 rear..thier not going to take slicks at a track or large drag radials..but will work nice on a avg hp car
