turn signal switch

Default turn signal switch

i bought an 86 mustang gt about a week ago maybe i got it for $2000 with only 90k miles on it with two slight problems the turn signal switch only works in one direction and yet i have to hold it down in order for the blinker to stay on. is the switch easy to install i did a search but found nothing.i also have an issue with passenger side window not working it wont go up[:@] what can be the problem there.?

[*]Disconnect battery ground cable.[*]On models with tilt column, remove upper extension shroud by unsnapping shroud retaining clips at the 9 o'clock position.[*]Remove five attaching screws, then separate and remove two trim shroud halves.[*]Grasp turn signal switch lever by grasping and using a twisting pulling motion while pulling lever outward.[*]Peel back foam shield from turn signal switch, then disconnect two turn signal switch electrical connectors.[*]Remove two screws attaching turn signal switch to lock housing, then disengage switch from housing and remove.[*]Reverse procedure to install.[/ol]

ahhh thnx looks like i'll be tryn this soon
so now what about my power window on the passenger side not working?

does it not work from both switches? if so, probably the motor.

nowthat you mention it i never tryed the other switch
but if its not that then itsprobablythe motor like you said
