The box by the shock tower is the fuel pump relay...ford moved them from under the seat in 89 IIRC...the firewall item is the MAP sensor as stated earlier. Real question is who and why decided that a vac line needed a hose clamp?....just kidding, but really not neccessary.

Mine is an 88'. But I have never seen any wires under my seat. So I assume that is what it is. The clamp it just one of those "just in case" clamps.

The relay on the fender is the relay for WOT (wide open throttle) air conditioner cutoff. It looks like someone has removed your AC right?
I think you still need that relay, if you unplug it it kills the power to your fuel pump. I've got an 87 (V look V) that relay shorted out and melted on my car. I had to rplace the pigtail and relay to get the car running again and my AC has been removed. I'm sure if you can get the wiring diagram you could wire around it.
The other is your BAP sensor.

I have a Haynes manual. It has wiring diagrams of some circuits. But it does not show where the stuff is. It just shows the circuit. So you cant find waht it shows, and if you find something in the car, you cant always find it in the book.[:@] (I no longer use the stock FP. Mine is wired to a switch I operate.)

Because my car isnt running. I am having to wait on parts that I have had to return because they were defective. Now it is sitting there and I want to do what I can while I wait. Nothing from/for my engine depends on anything from the stock harness. But lights, and some accesoriesdo.
