Well my engine build has been delayed because I am waiting to do something with the new 4 bolt Boss 302 Block by Ford Racing...Rated to handle 500 horse easy..which means probably 600 with no problem.

i hope they will take more than that. the old a4 and the r302 will handle more than that for cheaper

I am sure they will...They are building a 500 horse crate with that block..

A stock block can handle alot more than it is rated for so I would imagine the Boss will as well...They are casting them at the same plant that does the Diesel blocks...

They are going to be under $1800 so cheaper than the Dart and Man O War blocks..but still some bucks..

I have this crazy idea to make 600 horse with a blower and Methanol so I knew the stock block would not last that long...this should work out fine...more money but more peace of mind...

Hope to have it running and dynoed by June..

yeah i've been considering the new boss block myself but for the price i could damn near buy a complete coast high or dss short block. although four bolt mains and the 363cid potential would be nice...
