need some wiring days

RE: need some wiring days
It seriously sounds like you have a nasty vacuum leak dude. It would run better off idle, it would roll, and if the IAC was functioning properly, it really wouldn't do much if you disconnected it. The IAC pintle doesn't even move unless its getting like a 20% duty cycle (normal is 30%) so if its getting a bunch of unmetered air, the bypass valve is.....well.....bypassed, really.ThePCM is trying to shut the damn thing because its trying tobring the idle down. Grab a can of starting fluid or brake clean. Spray it around the lower intake and around the throttle body. From intake ports to throttle plate all over the front and rear. Once you hear a change in the way the engine runs, you found the leak. Be patient, it may take a second or two to respond but it works.......

i already did all that plus i have already went to panhandle performance and they dyno tuned it. they said if i am willing to put up with the idle it will be alright there werent any vacum leaks cause all the cylinders were running optimum air/fuel. the car laid down 550 rwhp but we had a fuel pressure prob.

Well, they can't tell the stoichiometry for each individual cylinder first off, but if you aren't running lean - you don't have a vac leak. What cam are you running? I'm not blown but I have several good friend that work with me with standalones, blowers the whole nine. I can talk to themin regards to what specific things get goofy when a blower is involved. I work at a Ford diagnostic center so I can get you some answers but I think my help will be limited without being able to get specific info.... I will make some calls in the a.m.
