Swappin out a 5.0 for a 351W?
Hey
Could someone enlighten me on whats involved in swapping froma 5.0 H.O to a 351 windsor in a 1990 Lx manual tranny (standard T5)? I realise it's prob quite a complex process so just the basics of whats involved and stuff to look out for will sufice.Cheers dudes
Oh also whats a good price to pay fora 351W and where could i look topick one upin West coast (B.C) Canada?

Down here in the Seattle area a complete long block will go for about 5-600 for a non-roller, and 7-900 for a roller block.

In 1969 the Ford musrtang came with two versions of the 351 the 2 barrel version was rated at 250hp while the 4 barrel was rated at 290. Both were built at Fords Windsor plant thus making them 351 Windsors and both were standard issue in the mach 1's (opptional on other models)right up until the original mustangs demise in 1973 (although power figs varied)
