Default Cold Air Intake advice for 95 mustang 5.0

there seems to be two ways to put an air intake kit onto my 95 mustang, on is the 60 ebay sets that included new tubing and a washable filter or the k&n fisk kit which uses your exisitng tube what is better, aside from looks what would get me better sound and performance? i am new to the mustang world and i am slowing going to upgrade my used 95 mustang, any insight would be greatly appreciated

Keep the stock intake, just put in a k&n air filter and larger MAF
