Anyhow I am looking to throw $1200 at a block or a rebuilt kit for mine. I was wondering if anyone knows of a great rebuild kit. The main question is should I go for a new 306 block with an E303 for $1200, or save some of my money and get a good rebuild kit... Please help, I need to make the decision soon befor I loose my cars that my friends are loning me.

ehhh, 1200 for a 306 is a little low. machine work costs a bunch, and so do good pistons. add a cam and your definately over budget.

Talk to FullAuto about a 331 stroker kit instead of a 306

But if I could rebuild my engine myself for a good price, then I would if there was a recommended kit.

that block looks like the way to go, if you want another stock block.

I don't think I can rebuild my block better then that for less a price, and I think e303 cam w/ my tw alum heads/ GT40 intake would make atleast 300hp easily with what they claim.
