Default wires & caps

Going to change my plug wires, dist. & rotor caps, my local supply store only offers 2 types, stock and Accel brand. Anyone have an opinion on if the Accel brands are ok to use? Thanks.

accel usually uses copper terminals so they would transfer spark better

see if the accel ones have low resistance. when i was shopping for wires i saw some accel wires with 7000 ohms of resistance per foot. might as well use the stock ones

if your looking for wires i would go msd.... i got pre fitted msd wires for my car and they make it look sweet... but they were like 80 bucks or so... i think................... dont buy from your local store, just wait a few days or a week or so, and buy online or something... local stores are convienent, but there are alot better deals out there

Accel makes good quality products and have been in business for many years selling hot rod parts, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. In fact, I just bought an Accel dist. cap and rotor when I got my new MSD ignition.

I have accel plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor, and coil on my 88'stang and I haven't had any problems with them at all. Personally I think you'll be fine with accel products--anyways it's better than stock
