Default Another line lock/ roll control question

Can I hook the ground wire up to my switches instead of hooking up the hot wire? Meaning run a switched hot to the lock coil, and run the ground from the coil to my switch/switches that are located on my shifter.

Let me know!!
Thanks,
Mark

i wouldnt. why does it matter tho? it seems easiest to just ground the line lock to the body and connect the positive wire to a switch.
