This Mustang I an getting is a Convertible 5.0 with 74,000 miles and is completely stock except the flowmaster exhaust and K&N Air Filter. ( just filter, not cold air induction set up). With out modifing the engine internally what mod would you all recomend for some performance gains I am new to Ford's and working on fuel injected cars.One thing I have thought of allready I f you saw my other post is gear set. I know the car has 273's. I'm just not sure what to go to I want to improve but do not want to scream the engine down the high way. What do you think? Thanks for your time and imput.

Automatic or 5 speed? How much do you want to spend. I'd go 3.73s if you want gears i have them and can still drive on the freeway everyday

Gears and subframes!

It has a 5-speed trans. Not looking to spend a bunch of money right now just wondered what might be some things to do to make it a little faster. I do not want to lose drivability on the street. Pro50sc Why leave it stock please expound on that for me. Thanks
