Default My Stang won't start!!

I went out this morning and picked up a EGR conncetor from Ford. Stopped and got gas, then stopped an audio store to see if they would remove the car alarm (dont have the transmitter and it beeps every 1/2 hour). They told me stop back at 1PM. I go home and do some stuff around the house and get in the car and it fires up but IMMEDIATELY shutsdown. I bought a new coil and the plugs, wires, cap and rotor were replaced last week. Still no luck, so it sits in my driveway....
I do know the cat converters are possibly clogged and/or the OS sensors need replaced. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm thinking the feul pump is shot. Is this hard to replace?

One other thing it could be is the alarm system is shutting the fuel system down. Some times when they put the aftermarket alarm systems in they hook up to stop the fuel system if the car is being stolen. Some times they stop the starter from working.Try to find the alarm module under the dash and unplug it then see if it starts.

I wouldnt think so, because why would a pump for a four cyl pump the same as a stock v8 one when the v8 burns 2x the fuel, maybe more. Do they look the same size?

I would check for a kill switch of some type. But it could also be the fuel pump.

Thanks for all your replies everyone. Now let me answer your replies.

1) Yes I do hear a buzz in the rear end when the key is turned. This tells me the fuel pump is kicking on???

2) I found the alarm module under the dash and removed it along with all the wires. However I still hear the beeping noise when I try to start it. Could there be some sort of 'speaker' they mounted somewhere? There was a kill switch and a lead to the starter (went to the steering column). I'll try to pinpoint the beeping noise and remove that.

3) what is an IAC valve and where is it?

4) Good thought about the alarm shutting the feul down. Any ides where to look?

5) Changing the fuel pump will be harder than you think. First off, I need to get the car off the ground higher so that the gas tank has room to drop. Secondly, I just filled the tank yesterday, so dropping a full tank wont be easy. If memory serves me the fuel pump should be on top of the gas tank and it just screws off??

If you removed the alarm and all the wiring then you might of disconnected it already. Most of the time they tap in at the steering column they will cut a wire and hook each side where the cut it to a relay. If it was done on your car you will have to recut the wires and butt connect them back together. You cant miss it if they did it in the steering column. Good luck
