Looked on google, and can not quite find how to do this. (With out breaking something!) I have a set of lenses I want to replace on my Mustang, but don't know how to exactly do this right. I know there are clips inside the light, but I can not get to them all. Any help would be appreciated!!

use a razor and cut the seal all the way around, pops right off. no clips.

I wondered that same thing. I don't have a set of replacement lenses but maybe you can look at those and get an idea of how they attach. I do however have my stock GT tails sittin in my room. I was looking at them and I can see what looks like 3 tabs/clips in each of the holes that the lights clip onto. Maybe pop all 3 of those and they come undone? That's my guess.

Thanks for the replys guys... I don't think I can just get to that caulk/glue by just running a blade through it. Could you elaborate on that?

How many clips do they have? Did it give you a certain number? If there's more than 3, than I got nothin. Otherwise just look in each of the holes the lights clip into, there's one in each hole. Run a screwdriver in there and unclip them?

oh those just pop off, might take a little more force than you think it should.

Called my friend and he said this is easy. (Go figure!) He said to take a heat gun/or a hot day, once that seal/glue gets tacky, SLOWLY pry the lamp away from the housing! I will take some pics and let you guys know!

just firmly grasp and pull straight off www.50resto.com has the new lenses and the clips and glue if u need replace the clips
