i've got my 3:73s sitting next to me in a box with all shims, bearings, seals, oil, friction modifier. but i don't have a press or a bearing splitter so i might pay to have it done.

How do youfix thespeedo problem? I have swapped my speedometer guage, but I am assuming you need to swap the speedo gear when you change your diff. gears too? Anyone got advice on that?

seems really easy, but if your putting in 410's i think you have to do both of the gears to get it accurate

I did mine without a press or bearing splitter. I used a dremel to get the bearings off so i could get to the shim.

I bought my stuff from Summit. Usually ships in 2-3 days, I bought the whole rebuild kit, but what you really need is just the bearings and seals. I re-used my stock shims..except for the one I broke [:@]I replaced it with one that was .001 thicker, no problems.
