Questions on milling my gt40s
I found the problems I was having was a blown head gasket. I pulled both heads off to replace them. I'm going to cut them down some to raise the compression up from 8.8:1
My questions are... If I cut the heads down from 65.5cc to 62-63cc will I have a problem using the factory push rods? next quesiton, dont flame me too bad, I am happy running 87 octane, I also ran 87 in it when I had the stock e7's on it with 9:1 compression. If I decided to go a little further with it and cut them to 60cc, could I still burn 87 in it with 12 degrees or so of timing? thanks guys |

I think you should probably do 89 octane just to be safe... I think but am not positive that those pushrods will still be ok... although it may not be ideal,I don't think it will give you any fits.
