Default best gears to use

i will be putting gears in my car this spring and i wanted to know what would be the best choice. the setup im using is 306ci with either thumper e7 or gt40 heads - e303 cam with 1.7 rocker arms - cobra intake maifold - 65 or 70mm throttle body - 73 or 76mm maf - and maybe 24lb injectors. also what times do you guys think i will run. this is also a daily driver

ive posted this before the answers youll most likey get is if its a 5 spd daily driver 3.55 or 3.73, drag maybe 3.73, 3.55, or 4.10....if auto 4.10 just because the tranny is geared so high it should work out nice but ya this fprum gets posted alot you should cruise through it and take a look..

not another one of these, look its easy, stick 3.73, auto 4.10. And get Ford Racing!

no no no... if you are going to drive it one the street a bunch, go with 3.55s auto or stick. If you have an auto, don't just go 4.10 cause it's what everyone else does... do the 3.55s, then look into upgrading the stall on it... street tires and steep gears = money spent on tires every 6 months...

If it's a 5 speed my vote is for 3.55s, I love mine and its my "fun" car.

Until you're up around 350+ rwhp I'd go with the 3.73 with a T-5. Then depending on traction, maybe work back down to a 3.55 etc above that... I've had both as a daily driver and currently still have 3.73 but with traction problems now.
