removing gauges
Does anybody know how to remove the cable on the back of the water guege of my autometer beforeI end up breaking it. thanks

It looks like the Ford Racing water temp gauge that I used to have.... If that is the case, I'm pretty sure you will have to remove it from the other end and pull the whole cable through the firewall.... If you're not sure where the other end is, it's on your lower intake manifodl on the front driver side.... check out this pic below from my car. what you're looking for is the gold fitting just to the right of the distributor. hope this helps you. It's not hard to remove or reinstall and should only take a few minutes... then just feed the whole fitting through the firewall wherever it runs through and you should be fine.
