no only on vinyl,if there painted on your looking at wet sanding and repaint

hmm so dumb i hate that damn stripe to. its faded from red to orange and on a black car it looks like a pumpkin

take some masking tape and run down the side of the car on top and bottom, as staight as poss. then wet sand the stripe with 600 grit paper then 1000 grit then finish masking about 12 " around the stripe then fog it flat black ,it'll look cool

I've found that a heat gun and one of those free balsa wood paint stir sticks from Home Depot will take off pin striping without any damage whatsoever to your car. Just keep the heat gun moving in fast little circles without staying on one spot for too long (a few seconds is all it should take). Gently push the stripe with the stir stick as yougo. It's easy as pie and doesn't even take that long.

an s.o.s pad is basically a little bundle of steel wool with a dry blue soap on it. Its pretty official.
