Default Paxton vs Vortech

I am thinking about adding a supercharger, andI have narrowed down my choices to either the Paxton novi 1000/2000 or the Vortech V-1 or V-2 S trim. Although they are now made by the same company, I was wondering what everyone thought about them.

turbo lag is gay. no offence, but superchargers are the way to go.

Same price? Hell no...a decent turbo kit like a helion is $5,000 or so. A Novi 2000 kit is something like $3,000

You may have, but most people won't want to buy a used turbo. Plus it's easier to buy the whole kit. The turbos that are on ebay are usually pieces of junk.

you know, the time it takes to spool up the turbo so it can actually start pushing air through your engine?

Well...nowadays turbo lag is kinda a thing of the past. Some of the diesel trucks out there are getting sequential turbos (One smaller turbo feeding the big one to reduce lag).
