Take it up to a parts store, autozone, advance auto, whatever is local. I work at advance auto and we do it for free. Do you have another person to help you ? I got mine off by holding it with a strap wrench and a socket.....It took alot to hold, but it worked.

i already have the pulley off but the problem i have now is that i cant put the stock pulley from a fox on the alt. is there a way to make the pulley fit like with a spacer?

hmm.....Never tried to put one on, but i've never heard of anyone having problems getting one on. Whats the difference between the sn95 and the fox pulley ?

one has a smaller pully than the other... smaller pully = better charging

the spacer that the pulley has is smaller on the fox pulley and when the guy at autozone tightened the bolt, the pulley wouldnt move.

you say it needs a spacer. If you can figure out how big of a spacer, go to the local Autozone and, if they are as much junk collectors as the store I worked at, they might have some laying around. If you go when they are slow, you might get a cool guy who will be willing to take one off of a core, I've done that before too, they will put a new one in to rebuild it anyway so pulling one off of a core is no big deal if they have time to do it. Seems like your biggest obstacle will be making sure the spacing is correct for the new alternator
