Take it up to a parts store, autozone, advance auto, whatever is local. I work at advance auto and we do it for free. Do you have another person to help you ? I got mine off by holding it with a strap wrench and a socket.....It took alot to hold, but it worked.

i already have the pulley off but the problem i have now is that i cant put the stock pulley from a fox on the alt. is there a way to make the pulley fit like with a spacer?

you say it needs a spacer. If you can figure out how big of a spacer, go to the local Autozone and, if they are as much junk collectors as the store I worked at, they might have some laying around. If you go when they are slow, you might get a cool guy who will be willing to take one off of a core, I've done that before too, they will put a new one in to rebuild it anyway so pulling one off of a core is no big deal if they have time to do it. Seems like your biggest obstacle will be making sure the spacing is correct for the new alternator
