Default Does a gear install affect the odometer and trip odometer?

Just like the topic says . I know my speedo is off. My trip odo seems to be ticking too much...do the new gears affect the way the odometer reads?

Yes, it does. Thats the main reason why you should fix it. If your doin 100mph with the right speedo gear your mileagw ill move faster than doin 50 with the right speedo gear. You now have the wrong gear, and it will move just as fast at 100mph now than before..understand?
