So Im gonna get some Weld Racing 15x10 rims for my 91GT because Im tired of having a 15x7 rim and can only go as big as 255/60R15 on tires. I can tell that my car had at one time a 10in wide rim or had a big enought tire for them to bend the finder lip in. There is no quad shock...the finder lip is bent in and they added 4-link suspension.
What I was wondering; what kind of backspacing do i need to get? And how big of a tire I can run, because I wanna run as big as a can without tubing it or moding anything else.

IIRC, a 15X10 with a 6.5" BS will allow you to run a 275 rear tire

why can u only run 255s on 7 inch rims? i run 315s on 8 inch rims.

I got P295/50R15 105H in my fox.

I have 265/50R15s with a 5.5 inch backspacing. The fenders had to be rolled to fit, but the outside of the tires match perfectly with the fender.
