Default edelbrock H/C/I combo

what do you guys think about this combo?: edelbrock performer rpm heads(170cc/60cc)(2.02/1.60) or edelbrock victor jr heads(210cc/75cc)(2.05/1.60) with an edelbrock performer rpm cam(224/234)(.496/.520) and an edelbrock performer rpm II intake with a 75mm TB.

will the victor jr heads be better or worse than the performer rpm heads?
how much power do you think this combo will put out?
what would you change and why?

thanx in advance.

IMO and my opinion only you would not enjoy that combo on the street. First the large valve head will have clearance issues, cam is basically an ecam...not a great cam, I'd go comp XE series or custom. RPM II is a good intake but more of a high RPM bandit better suited to a larger displacement motor...and yes the TB is too big as well. All this is moot if your running a stroked motor...then the variables for size change, but 302/306 she'll be very doggy on the street. For a 302/306 the eddy heads are excellent...I run the small valve head, RPM intake is a nice pc and 65 or 70 mm would be more than enough...as for cam I gave opinion earlier. With the parts in my sig and an SCT tune she made 317/345 numbers I'd put against any of the mild compression 302 n/a big dollar combo's out there.

cam is close to a stage 1 cam not an e-cam...the 1.90 valve head would be better suited for it

the stock pistons will have to be flycut to use a 2.02 head and if you used the 2.02 head than your intake choice is wrong...any effect like said above the tb is too big

im planning on new pistons too, but why would the intake not work with a 2.02??

it will work however you would not enjoy the power range of the RPM 2 and large valve heads on the street where you spend most of the time in the lower rpm range. Bigger is not always better...at least that's what I tell the wife

what are your other plans? if you plan on forced induction go w/ it. ive got a setup that is "too big" for my little 306 but its still tons of fun, and will be even more fun when i grow into it with a little boost. ive got vic jrs, efi intake, and a z cam
