Default Converter and Gears ???

I have a 92 gt vert and it currently has ran a best of 15.02. Here in Canada i'm almost positive IHRA rules are you need a 6 point roll bar once u pass 13.99s.I have FRPP 410's and a 3000 stall torque converter sitting in my room along with subframe connectors, strut tower bar , tranny cooler, A/C delete kit and some bbk shorty headers.

will i drop a full second without better tires or will i actually run worse / the car will b harder to drive at the track?? i dont have the $ for both et streets and a roll bar right now. opinions ??

you won't need the roll bar for a while. the gears and stall, you'll gain .8-1.0 total off your 1/4 times. your other stuff, maybe .3

you will run faster, but you will deff need tires because your car will perform much better!

guys its a vert, roll bars are required at different et's than hard tops.

to answer your question, traction will become a issue with the converter and gears.

yea i'll be racing at Grand Bend Motorplex , its in southernontario. Yea they made me wear a helment when i was running the 15's. I'm thinking about just putting everything but theT/C in and leaving it that for next winter along with roll bar and tires.

unless u all think i wont break 13's with just the gear and converter ( a/c delete and headers) ????
