88 GT n loven it....

I seen a 92 GT hatchback in the car lot I asked the guy how much did he want for it n he said $4500 the car read 88k i kno it could be 188k it'd leather interior and it looks n a pretty good shapeother than some paint chips n lil detailsit's also a 5speed but i think that 4500 is to much for it how much would still be a reasonable amountto offer him ?

if its actual 88k its worth it. i just got mine for 9k, with 81k, but mine is a "more desirable body style(vert)" and its the most sought after year.

I paid $2700 for my '92 LX with some rust and some modifications and 97k original miles.
Maybe a GT is worth a few 100 bucks more in the same condition and probably a car with a cleaner body is worth $1000 more.

I would find out the actually mileage, I would pay around 4 for it if it actually has 88k

I paid (stole) my loaded '91 GT 5 speed with 78k on it for $3600 with absolutely no rust, a perfect interior, and a Fosgate deck. It could use paint and was totally stock (no incompitent work) when I bought it. It was always garaged and never driven in the winter.

That being said... Better deals are out there, but if its really nice and you have a throbbing one for it, then $4k seems fair.
