harmonic dampener

Default harmonic dampener

ok i just bought a 351W to swap with my 302, my 351 came with a dampener, do i need a diffrent one.or will this one work

one of my co-workers had it laying around, so i bought it.
it is a 1984 motor

keep the one that it came with as its a different weight as the 302. If you do any significant changes to the block (different rod or pistons) you should get the block balanced by a good machine shop. Last thing you want is to put the motor in to find out its going to vibrate itself to death.
