when i built this motor i wanted to keep it a DD and the KB would allow that for sure prolly wont see more than 600 or so HP and TQ at the wheels, but the turbo is adjustable so i could keep it mild round 8-10#s on the street and then the track turn it up to 15-17#s,, and yes it got the supporting mods to get 700+RWHP just want to keep it a DD if possible,, haha

I like your thinkin ruger! But I must say, I have a Cov. as well and I kinda hate to drop that much hp in to one. Id rather drop that into a notch myself. But anyway thats beside the point. The turbo is the way to go for sure. I would go with the 76mm for a DD car, cause it will make all the power you need, and you could still run a 50 horse shot of N2O to help cool the intake charge for more power. I believe the 88mm would be to big and not perform as well on the street as the 76mm would. I too want to go the turbo route some day soon, just wish i had more money to do so. But cant wait to see how yours turns out, good luck.

yeah i know what you mean about the vert, i was really looking for a notch, but i bought this from a friend whos dad died last year so i bought it from her mom and was just going to restore it for them kinda as a tribute but then all hell broke loose, i stroked it to a 347 then had to do driveline, then suspension and i did it all at once, this was supposed to be my new Harley but turned into a 4 wheel money pit,,hahaha, naw it is fun and going to be fuggin awesome when i get done, this is the last part of the car that i cant for surely decide on, and as for the notch, only 400lbs difference, nothing that a few more ponies cant take care of, i mean how sweet would it be to have a 9 sec vert??? and be a DD,, haha there are a few low 10sec verts around here but id like to be the first into the 9s just gotta do a few more mods with the suspension but the xl subs and the roll cage has stiffened it up a bunch but has added more weight too,, i love the whine of the KBs and for the street you cant beat them that is where id be doing most of my racing/driving haha,, but with the turbo i can control the boost all the time, so i could run a mile 8-10#s on the street and then push it up to 15-17#s on the track,, just gotta finish with the fuel setup, can put one together for 1000HP for under $600

I would go with the turbo setup hands down. Not sure if I would go with a 88mm turbo though for a street car. I would go with with 76mm. You said approx 700rwhp, throw another 150 shot on there and your making 850 TO THE WHEELS!!! OMG!!!!!!!

yeah would be fun, not sure how much i really like this 150DRY kit,, thinking of making it a wet kit, but i want the plate between the upper and lower intake i dont like injecting through my upper too many ppl have backfires, so if i decide to go with a plate kit ill have a NOS 150 Dry shot Stage 2 for sale,, on summitracing it is part number 05115-IINOS i think like $700 would be willing to give it up for $350
