quad shock??

Default quad shock??

is the quadshock rear worth getting?? i need to upgrade to an 8.8 rear, and i was wondering what advantages the quad shock rear would give me. also any suggestions on gear ratio and where to get rears or who rebuilds them would be helpful. thanks guys

If your getting a new rear end, don't bother with quads, as long as you buy good upper and lower control arms and weld up those torque boxes, some subframes.... 5 spd or auto for the gears? 3.55 or 3.73 imo

i dont know if im gonna make it 5spd or auto yet, i cant decide....but i hear a lot about welding the torque boxes...do you have a pic?? i'm not 100% sure what you're talkin about

pull them off and throw them away if you are goign new suspension or if you plan on 255s or 275s you cant use em anyway,

I agree. The U/L control arms are the most important part if removing (or in your case, not installing quad shocks). They control the wheel hop that the stock U/L's can't. The other chassis mods listed are very important to getting traction to the ground and added strength, though.

I went with upr adjustable upper control arms and lakewood traction bars ( lowers) and totoall deleated my quad shocks. My car plants great. No wheel hop ,nothing! just go go go

allows you to adjust axle location, pinion angle and really dial in how well the car plants the rubber to the pavement... not neccesary for oem replacement, unless you want them... or have the cash. If you plan on some serious track duty its worth having.
