I never said it makes a lot more, i just know it makes a little more. Thats why I said it doesnt really matter, it is more of a sound preference.

Do you think the X-pipe will be louder or sound better?

I recently ran aMAC O/R X-pipe w/ MAC dumps on my 91, while my wife has a MAC O/R H-pipe w/ FlowMaster 40 dumps on her 93. I really feel that mine sounds 20 times better. Mine has a higher pitched "ripping" sound, while her's has a deeper "drone" to it. Both cars have shortie headers installed. For me, the X-pipe (and any muffler other than FM) wins hands down (sorry guys, I just hate FlowMaster-anytime I hear them I think GM). I just put my BBK X-pipe w/ hi-flo cats back on so I could ship the car back from Germany. With the cats on the exhaust note deepened a bit, but still retains that "ripping" sound when you get in the pedal. Hope this helps.
