near stock powers will have no problems with drag radials, now slicks and the stock clutch will be fine, itll slip the clutch before anything breaks, usually

I launch at 3500 on stock clutch,t5 and suspension w/ 4.10's and full slicks....done it time and time again and still have no problems spraying off the line.

you'll destory the stock clutch with a few drops that high and slicks. trust me i found out the hard way, get a centerforce!

well would I be alright as long as I didn't "dump" the clutch, but gradually let it out? Fast, but at least not dumping it?

Just use drag radials so you dont **** nothin up and get traction still......its so much simpler that way!

my old car..i used 26x8 cascar ovall track slicks at 25psi....had to heat them up for 20 sec to get them right...on the last yellow i'd mash the throttle..dump the clutch..pull a 1.6 60foot..et range a 11.9 -12.2..was surprised how good they worked..and for 40 bucks...lol ..during staging i'd keep the revs at 3500..so launch was around 4500
