alot of cams "fit" but finding the one that best suits a particular setup is whats key.

Suggestion......don't bypass doing a PtV check b/c they say "it will clear".....not two engines are alike. Besides, what if you end up with a couple like this.....

...and trust me, I've seen a few......+ they will not reimburse you for the damages, specially when their instructions state......
The following Mechanical operating clearances must always be verified to ensure the service life of the camshaft:
Spring coil bind clearance
Retainer to seal/valve guide boss clearance
Piston to valve clearance
Rocker arm slot to stud clearance
Camshaft endplay
Distributor shaft and gear endplay
Connecting rod to cam clearance
Proper hydraulic lifter pre-load
Proper valvetrain geometry
My 2¢.

Ask them to fax you a 'guarante' that it will fit...where as if it does not then they will send a check for repairs to your mill. As stated above no two engines are the same nor are the tolerances. Your obsession with the word CAM is misleading you into thinking that it is the ultimate go fast part...fact is head and intakeselection are far more important by a long shot. You want a lopey idle...go pull one of your vac lines, car will probably run better like that then it will with an mismatch state 2 and gt40 irons...very mismatched.
