If you ran my vin number it would come up as a 4 banger bc i wrecked my 5.0 and diamonded the frame so i bought the shell of a 88 4 banger and did a full swap...but i did tell them there was a 5.0L in it...im paying 972 every 6 months....but thats with just me (19) on the coverage...</P>

That's the way to do it. Be honest with the insurance company and they'll either drop you or they'll work more with you if you have a claim. Since I've got so much into the engine (almost twice what I paid for the car) I'm going to do a declared value policy (one of those custom car/street rod things) if it's not horribly expensive.

I have been looking around for the best insurance and the best I have found being 17 was 1400every sixmonth for a 92 5.0 <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">. I see some of you people that are 17 saying you pay like 700 every 6 months.. Is the insurance actualy under your name or your parents?</P><edited><editID>PeaceKeeper</editID><editDate>37836.9723958333</editDate></edited>
