bbk intake dyno results finally in
5.0 mustangs and super fords finally did a test on the new bbk intake. the test was done on a 93 cobra. mods included were a stock cam, computer, and #24 injectors on a stock spec 306 shortblock, edlebrock performer rpm heads, bbk 1 5/8-inch full length headers, an h pipe and a smog pump eliminator. the intake was a stock intake with a little port job done to it. here are the results.....

dont believe everything you read - especially in 5.0 & MM&FF, I dont see that being possible considering the Cobra intake is already pretty good... Im sure the heads helped though

i thought it was a 302.....oh well. i guess not bad gains, but, thats not a complete stock car. imo its actually a good buy, cuz the egr is made into the manifold, comes with fuel rails, so, really, its probably not a bad idea, but, i dont want one.

hey md they did it on a stock 5.0 h.o intake not the cobra one. dont ask y buts its deffintly a 93 cobra. i guesse they juss put an h.o intake on there to compare it with a stock one

I read that sh it in 5.0 mag on a stock engine.. then seem all the mods on the "stock" engine...coarse it fools better as the intake was the restriction because of the mods*L*..damn misleading ads!

Those numbers arent impressive. Especially over stock! Here check this out http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/media/waves.htm I think these are better gains.
But yea it does look cool.But im about numbers.
