Hey Guys Im kinda new to the forums... But i have a Question I have an 90 lx 5.0 and i blew a head gasket a few years back....i put a gallon of anti-freeze and it went right to the oil pan...and now after a year the oil is like sludge....I was wondering when i go to tear everthing down how am i going to gett all the crap out of there...Im i going to have to take both heads off or what ????

Well if u have a blown head gasket wouldnt you take the heads off anyways?? Either way if ur going to pull the engine then id do everything all at once.

Take it to your local machine shop and have them tear it down, or you can tear it down, then they can clean everything up for you.

if coolant has been siting in your oil for a year, id have every part in the motor washed.
