lol i try.. its tru tho... swaped a tranny in the damn snow last sunday... out in a gravel driveway no less, lol... cant be that cold man... throw on some good old carhart coveralls, and jacket, and go to town, lol
Ive got two cars so I dont have to really worry about tearing it apart in the winter like that. I can wait until my friend's garage is available.
Ive done repairs outside in the snow and rain before though.

also check your shock bolts. i ran into that yesterday at my shop, mysterious clunk noise turned out to be a loose shock bolt. didn't look loose though, so its tricky to catch.

Damn- I didnt know that.

Theyre a bitch to do on the ground so thats why I did them on a lift. I had to pull the exhaust off to get them in place and I couldnt get the exhaust off on the ground.

Hopefully Ill get a chance to fix them soon then. I might just have somebody weld in torque box reinforcements anyway though.
If you dont have access to an alignment rack, set the AXLE down on jack stands right by the shock mounts.

Ive checked them several times actually because I originally thought that was the problem.

I found a local guy to install torque box reinforcements. His shop is 2 minutes from my house.
Since the arms need to come off to install these hopefully my problem will be fixed.
I just bought these on ebay:

Its the full kit for uppers and lowers and it looks pretty good.
