how much for the t-5? i'll keep your aod in mind, i just have to decide what i wanna do. either way i need to get a set of pedals, so i'm gonna try to only have to buy them once. who makes a manual valvebody for the c4?? just so i can price it out and stuff

RE: t-5 and aod max hp?
T-5's with upgraded components can handle 500hp, G-Force makes a nice kit for them, with majorly improved gears, synchros, etc.
I have an AOD in my ranger thats putting down around 300hp. Had no problems yet. Ive heard that around 400 hp is max. But they do make host of upgrade parts that can make it handle well in excess of 800hp. But its VERY expensive to upgrade the internals and get a nice torque covertor.
C-4's are also very good, they can be made to handle in excess of 1000hp, but that too costs a lot. ( I have a basically stock C-4 if you need it, will need a rebuild though).
94GT, A cooler is not a bad idea but youll need to configure some sort of pump to circulate the fluid, and adding an inline filter wouldnt be a bad idea either.

Yes, AOD's are alot more expensive to build up but C4's are about half the price! You can get a C4 good for like 600hp for like 800 bucks. Performance Automatic is a good place to look for manual valve bodies.

i have already mad the plans for it and i know what i'm using for a pump, i never realy thought of a filter for it, but it's a good idea that i might of thought of later down the production... thanks for the idea.... and the price on hte t-5 is going to depend on what kind of rebuild u want... it's it's just a stock one or one like the g force... for a stock one i was thinking no more than 600 depending on what i get the tail shaft for...
