Default Anyone with an AOD come inside...

And pull out your credit cards and buy one of these, it only cost me $13.94 shipped. It's a cheapmust have for the AOD cars.

I've heard that you can get them there pretty cheap, it sucks for me, I'm 50 + miles away from the nearest one.

I wish I would have know about that. On my 86 I broke it and replaced it with a piece of hose and two hose clamps because no part stores could help me out.

I had a rare one from rock auto, it was made out of polycarbonate and green, an updated version.

that bushing is a great idea though

thats like the little rubber/plastic gromit that connects the throttle body shift cable to the thottle body right? and if it is that is an amazing idea i burnt up two trannies before i realized what was broken and it was that 3 dollar part

That's exacly what it is, the stock bushings are made out of nylon.With 14-20 yearsof aging on them and abuse, they tend to get brittle and sometimes break allowing the TV cable to slip in and out which will kill your tranny over time. This peice will not allow your TV cable to slip in and out of the bushing, as it will be locked in with the new bushing. It's a great peice of self insurance, and helps keep that AOD in tip top shape. I've been looking for one of those littlethings for a while, first time that I saw it on latemodelrestoration.com, I immediately ordered it. The best part about it is that it's dirt cheap.
