new tranny, clutch, and shifter...
so i got my tranny rebuilt because i had bad syncros, and i had a king cobra put in, and then today in between my classes i put in my steeda tri-ax. with all that stuff it feels like i'm driving a new car. that steeda is freakin badass. and for everyone that says that the king cobra is too stiff, well, you're a bunch of pussies.
now all i need is that procharger...

the cobra is stiff but it's not that bad i agree they with you on that... and a fresh rebuilt is very nice, just take it easy on it or your syncros will be bad just as fast as they where but in...
i personaly don't like the king cobra because i don't want to replace my clutch every time i change my oil, i drive my CF just as hard as drive the cobra and it's holding fine... i wish you luck with the cobra
edit: get an adjustable calbe, billet quadrent and a firewall adjuster if you don't have them already... the extra effort that the cobra takes will tear up the stock plastic quatrent pretty fast

RE: new tranny, clutch, and shifter...
I just replaced my clutch. I thought the previous owner said it was a King Cobra and it did require quite a bit of effort to press.
The new clutch I bought measured 2400lbs base pressure. This is the force required to push the diaphram fingers down. The new clutch measured 2300lbs. Since this is only a 5% difference I was expecting no difference.
Had the flywheel resurfaced and installed everything. The pedal is HALF the effort of before.
My friend has tranmission shop and he said he sees it all the time. The new clutch which is same as the old clutch only new. Feels much lighter at the pedal.
