Default How much would a '93 Cobra w/ 71K miles be worth?

I stopped today and looked at a very nice '93 Cobra (black) with 71K miles. All orig unmolested/unabused.
The guy was a fellow fox enthusiast, car was maintained well. He wanted $9500.
Was it worth it? What would that car go for in other parts of the country?
I have really noticed asking prices going up in the last 18 months for clean foxes. Are you guys seeing this as well? I've even seen quite a few being restored to orig condition, even to the point of people taking off aftermarket performance parts and installing stock air boxes, pullies, heads etc.
Could it be that we are seeing the beginnings of fox restoration movement?

Sounds about right. Most of ebay go for about $10K-20K.

71k isnt really low mileage for a cobra.. someone was driving that 5,000+ miles a year

ive seen a cobra with 20k miles go for 17 grand

+1. Try to talk him down first, but buy it even if he doesn't budge on the price.

Really? I'll keep an eye out for that trend. That would be both good and bad...if foxes were becoming more valuable, and highly prized. It'd be good because that would make our cars, that we already own, that much cooler. It'd be bad because it would be harder to get one...obviously. It's hard to imagine that folks are going as far as to ditch performance parts to return cars to their original condition, but I wouldn't doubt it.

seems like a pretty good deal, maybe try to talk him down some. Those year cobras are pretty rare though, i think I have only ever seen one in person.
