What head do you think I should use, AFR 185's or 205's. Im thinking the 205s should do good.

the 185's will suport it...the 205 it a big valve head and if this will be any type of dd car the 185 would be better suited

I wanted to go with the 427, but i did some research and it seemed like they had a lot of problems with it.
what info did you find on the 427? im looking at a few diff combos and i really like the 408/427. everything ive seen seems to say the 427 is a great stroker but only if you use a dart block as the foundation. seems the 427 would be beyond the factory blocks threshold. bennett racing has a 427 w/dart block that cranks out 625hp,they claim it hasdescent street manners and good reliability due to the bullet proof block and all forged internals...check www.bennettracing.com however thier website is currently under construction

the reason for this is if your going to put out the cash for a 427 with it's potentail power you want a good block...because who wants to build a 450hp 427 cu in engine????

I found it on another forum, and a few people said that they had problems with them. They said that they seemed to have problems with the pistons side loading.

408 is tried and true, you could run a 393 also

With the 408, Afr 185's, Trick Flow Intake, good cam, pulleys, long tube headers with good h pipe and mufflers, good fuel system, and a 75mm tb and 90mm maf and all those other little things like cold air intake, fidanza fly wheel, what kind of power can I expect at the wheels?

Also for the fuel system, would 42lb injectors do good?

it depends on the kit they used. the .30/.60 over kits use a 4.17 stroke crank while the 4.125 bore kits use a 4.00in stroke crank which would reduce the rod length in turn improving rod/stroke ratio , reducing side load on the pistons. but again, the 4.125 bore can only be done w/ the dart block.

42's might be big... 36 might work...

and 400 at the wheels isnt unrealistic
