Default fuel milage?

Hey guys, i just recently finished swapping out the v6 from my 95 for a 5.0 from a 94 and i am very happy with the results! can't wait to start modding! i just have one question, what would be wrong with the car to make it get like 12 mpg? cause thats what i got on my first tank. the engine is stock and has 90,000 miles on it.

Lucky13, it looks like you get 5 mpg with the motor in your sig, sweet motor.

haha yea i knew there would be a difference but i didn't think it would be that bad. heavy foot may be some of it but i wasn't that hard on it. o well i thought i'd clean the air filter and the maf and throttle body and see if that makes any difference.

what kind of ecu are u using?

o2 sensors, ect sensor, and other small sensors all tell the ecu how much fuel to use.

obviously a good tune-up could solve this too

start cheap and let us know
