There is no dipstick for manuals, you have to check your fluid levels from the fill plug underneath, there are two plugs one is higher than the other, pull the plug and stick your finger in to see if you can feel the fluid.

The plug comes out with a 3/8s ratchet and extension...no socket. Pop the lug out, if its full it should start spilling out the instant the plug is out. T5s take 3 quarts even BTW.

Take out the top plug, pull out the shifter, fill the tranny from the shifter hole. Keep a pan under there and stop filling it when the fluid starts coming out.
