Yes it will make a difference, even stockers, you will have more contol if you replace them, amongst other things.

New shocks/struts will do nothing but help.

I put on Koni's and am happy with the ride.

Shocks and struts will definitely help that. You can get Tokico HP's for 227 shipped from jdmwerks on ebay. If that's still out of your range for now, look into KYB GR2 or Gas-a-justs....they are cheaper, but will be okay for a stock ride height.

my car rides REAL stiff. i noticed the other day, i had it up on the lift, repairing my fuel sending unit wiring, and my struts are leaking.
it rides harder than my old F250. its actually causing the hooks that hold the convertable down, to destroy themselves. every pothole makes my top a little bit looser, and its really starting to **** me off.

to top it all off, i got fired friday and have no income for new struts/shocks

We can tell by you avatar!

The shocks for $227 that was mentioned above that is all 4 wheels?

Also my car is an 85 as far as front suspension what is different from the 87-93? I am wanting to do some upgrades but I need to know if parts for the 87-93's will work.
