I've had my '84 up to about 115... but the speedometer started making strange and not so good noises. There definitely seemed to be a bit more left from the engine though. Completely stock.

Thats why I dont street race anymore. Ill dick around from a light to light but last time I street raced, I was doing about 110 and the guy I was racing bumped me from behind and kicked the *** end out.. Spun around about 2 times, and thankfully slowed down enough before I hit the wall. The guy I raced ran, and left me with a totaled 91. Fractured 2 ribs, sprained both wrists,a ton of cuts andabrasions,and seriously ****ed up my knee from hitting the steering column (With seat belt on). Granted I was a young punk at the timeand was on a closed road, but I learned my lesson once and once only.If Im gonna go at those speeds, Ill head to the track.

I found out a few weeks after I crashed that the guy that bumped me was arrested for street racing cause he rear ended a mini van on the freeway doing about 130ish. Kids in the car and all. I apologize for the rant but just figured I would get it out there.

not sure but i took mine up to 141 on the 210freeway =)

i got mine to about 140 wen it was stock, it took a stretch of road tho on the freeway at about 3am to do it. all by myself.

I didn't know these cars even went that fast. I've had mine to about 103 mph and was scared to go faster. The faster I went the louder the noise is in my 93 vert. I'm afraid of crashing the car at that speeds due to the fact that I do have a convertible.

i was doing about 125 down rt 78 to cj pony parts passing groups of mustangs in july with 82FBGT50's (alex) friend while him and my buddy were trolling behind at about 85 we got there about 30 45 min before them haha
