maaco paint job

RE: maaco paint job
I sell abrasives and dry supplies to the 2 local Maaco's here and I check out their work regularly. Actually pretty good from what I've seen. I spoke with the owner about the bad rep they've had and he says there are some franchises that still do it the old way but the ones that are on the ball use good products from DuPont, 3M and others. He says it's better to do it right than to deal with people returning in 2 years with bad/peeling clearcoat. I think it's a case by case basis. I know alot of local high dollar "custom" shops that do crappy work too. Best thing to do is check out some of his work going out the door and see if it meets your standard.
