Ok my buddy has an 89' ford probe GT (turbo model)
He just finished rebuilding it, and he bored it out .40 over.
Well this story all starts like way back in the day when I first got into cars and crap when I was a "ricer" "4bangerturbo" lover. He got this car when we were 16 like 3 1/2 years ago. I had like gay *** 97' camry... (pos. SLOW *** ALL GET OUT!) Anyways..... and driving around in his car we thought his car was fast.... (but id never felt anything other than this "power" it produced?) but his car broke down and i got into mustangs and he has finally rebuilt.....but hasn't gotten 500 miles on it yet. But he thinks he is going to run like 14.5's .... i say no way on this earth!

He swears by it. LOL NO WAY LOL i am going to say like 15.9-16.5 on a good day!!!

i dont know wat does the probe have in it, If its a 2.3 i would say it could run that, i wousl also say good luck, but im drunk so good luck,

ok......w/ your mods.........i say you should have no problem beating him......even a 2.3 with a .040" over.......you should still have probably 2x as many ci as he does. so, good luck......but, honestly, i dont think youll be needing luck. i think he will !!! and a couple horseshoes stuck up his a$$. haha

Im not worried about his car beating mine.
My best time is a 12.8, so I doubt he can pull that. On average I get 12.99-13.1 so i know he cant touch my car!

But I just wish I could remember how fast his car really is.
Like he really thinks his car is fast.. I guess my whole thing with him is that y Fiance' has a 97' GT Vert. And she's pulled a 14.99 and they kinda poke fun at each other.

He thinks his car will beat hers. I have to say I highly doubt that car will touch hers....

Ummm it's a 2.2L Turbo. But with the over bore.... that would make it like a 2.4 i think??????

Its hard to say..Just cause he has bored his car doesnt mean he will get more hp. If he stroked it then he could actuallt see some more power. Just go to track before it closes . Good luck!

He should be in the 14's with some mods pretty easy. They run 15.5-15.9 stock and are pretty easy to mod.
