HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN MY FIRST GEAR??
 

I have a 92 lx 5.0 vert and it is an auto.After i first start it, it will take off in first but after that it wont go back down to first.Do you guys no whats wrong??

sounds like the TV cable. Try adjusting it or messing with it under the TB. Someone recently posted a little fitting that helps it out, I htink 50resto.com has it.

yep tv cable or bad torque converter i think the TC only works in OD that might be GM's not sure. pretty drunk right now lol.

well that settles it...its the tv cable...now all i gotta do is figure out what a tv cable is

This is the bushing. They also sell whole tv cables. the tv cable just lets the tranny know how open the throttle is
