I have a 1987 mustang 5.0 and it is stock. I've done nothing to it but i want to make it fast. Im thinking about puting a 175 shot in it and then throw on some 555R's tires on it. I just want to know if i had to do anything else to the engine before I do this. Or maybe somebody who has a setup can tell me what they did. Would i have to put sub frame connecters on? Or would my drive shaft take it? Stuff like that I want to know. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Reguardless of which one he runs 175 is just asking for a new motor.

run a 100 shot so you can keep your motor

Stay with a 75 to 100 shot, use a wet kit, and have it tuned. Retard your timing for 2 degrees for every 50 shot.

I was going to suggest a 150 wet shot. If he got it tuned to run with it he would be fine.

retard you're timing back to 9 get a inline fuel pump you need one if you're gona spray 175 go dry simpler
