ME vs Rx7

RE: ME vs Rx7
It also depends on what's under the hood of the RX-7. It's not hard to build a 9-second RX-7 that's fully streetable, so be wary. If it's turbo, you may be in for a disappointment. Those cars are pretty light.

Must have been a RX8 then. It smoked my poor old 5.0. Time to rebuild I think. Just wish I had some availble funds to do it. I'm not a big fan of convertibles though. The frame is definitley not as rigid as a fox body hatchback. I will proabbly sell it soon.

I have a stock 89 5.0 except underpulleys cold air pipe. auto trans with tv linkage adjusted way up. Would a 2004 Rx7 and with a turbo (I presume) beat me in a race?

A GT would be a decent race, but an LX would probably kill the 8... unless he's got a ton of mods.
