Here's another angle. This kid just gets this INSANE car handed to him for free, and now you're letting the crap he's talking about your car that YOU paid for and YOU worked on that isn't even in the same ballpark as the Cobra get to you? Come on man. Tell him to pay for your mods, and/or the Cobra, and then see how a race goes. If he didn't do a darn thing for the car in the first place then on what grounds is he so high and mighty all of a sudden? Sure modding is fun, but this is for a stupid reason. Just my opinion

lets put it this way this is the only motor ford has made from the factory stock that was made readily available to the public that can beat a ls1 stock and moddified, ur screwed unless u get more money, and hope he spins his tires and cant drive.

one of my buddysjust got a very good gift form his uncle. an 03 cobra. and he is talkin s*** so i have 3 months untill he gets to take his cobra home. im on a very tight buget and need so cheap mods.
i have a 94 gt, full exhaust, cold intake, dual friction clutch, short shifter, 100 shot of nos and 3.73s in the rear. i have a turbo off an thunderbird, and was wanting to put it on but dont konw if it would be worth it.

How big of a shot do you got ? I say put on suspension, tires, and up your shot. At that point it sounds like it would be a drivers race, and if you said is is stupid mechanicaly then he prolly cant drive good either.
